In this way, stuck memories are processed in the brain. It is done to identify the reason and reduce the emotional intensity of the traumatic experiences.

Mediation works as a magic. It makes patients relax. It helps them to live in the present moment and forget about all the bad happenings. 15-20 minutes meditation helps to deal with PTSD.

 

2. Journaling

Journaling is also very helpful. In this, negative thoughts are written down. It helps in various ways. Firstly, through this negative thoughts and emotions are expressed. Secondly, negative thoughts are challenged to eradicate it from mind. 

3. Listen Soothing Music 

A person gets panicked when he experiences flashbacks, nightmares, and intrusive thoughts. This makes that individual super anxious. In that situation, listening to soothing music helps a lot.
